Marlene Mitchell Gordon, former vice president, assistant general counsel for Burger King Brands Inc., has joined Kelley Drye & Warren as of counsel in the firm’s advertising law and intellectual property and technology practice groups in its Washington office. The firm also announced it has expanded its government relations and public policy practice group with the addition of former Clinton administration official Lisa S. Andrews and Capitol Hill veteran Joan Galvin.

During her corporate legal career, which spanned 13 years, Gordon provided strategic direction and legal counsel on a range of marketing, advertising and intellectual property matters for large multinational corporations. In her role as vice president, assistant general counsel for Burger King Brands, she was the principal legal counsel responsible for Burger King’s global marketing initiatives and global trademark, domain name and patent portfolios.
