One of the state's top appellate attorneys is switching firms, with Proloy Das moving from Rome McGuigan to 130-lawyer Murtha Cullina.

In a social media posting, Das said he will become chair of the appellate practice group at Murtha, which has offices in Hartford, New Haven, White Plains, New York, and Boston and Woburn, Massachusetts.

On Facebook, Das described Murtha as being “consistently ranked as one of the top five law firms in Connecticut and regarded as one of the best business litigation firms in New England. I am honored to be entrusted with the opportunity to further enhance its appellate reputation and excited to be part of the Murtha Cullina team.”
