One of the state's largest firms, Pullman & Comley, has hired two well-known Fairfield County attorneys, Livia DeFilippis Barndollar and Kelly A. Scott to join the firm's family law practice.

“We are very pleased that Livia and Kelly have joined our expanding family law practice,” said Timothy Ronan, chairman of the firm's litigation department. “Both attorneys bring with them an abundance of experience and will be a tremendous asset in serving our clients in Lower Fairfield County.”

Barndollar, of Westport, specializes in dissolution of marriage cases, postjudgment and appellate proceedings and “informed and experienced” alternative dispute resolution. She is a former president of the Connecticut Bar Association and chairwoman of the association's Family Law Section and has been an editor at the Connecticut Bar Journal since 1985.

Frequently sought as a featured speaker, Barndollar has conducted several addresses at the request of the Connecticut Supreme Court. She earned her bachelor's degree from Trinity College and her law degree from Villanova University School of Law.

Bridgeport attorney Scott's experience includes high-net-worth and high-conflict divorce cases and proceedings involving property division, alimony, child support, custody and parental access. She is a special master for family matters in Fairfield County and participates in the state's Volunteer Attorney Program. Scott received her bachelor's degree from Fordham University and her law degree from University of Connecticut School of Law.

Pullman & Comley was awarded family law litigation department of the year in the Connecticut Law Tribune's annual Professional Excellence Awards. The firm will celebrate its 100th anniversary next year.
