Citing a year of nationwide growth, Goldberg Segalla has announced the promotion of 37 attorneys to partner across the country, including two in Hartford, plus eight attorneys promoted firmwide to special counsel, including one in Hartford.

Goldberg Segalla Announces Promotions, New Hire Citing a year of nationwide growth, Goldberg Segalla has announced the promotion of 37 attorneys to partner across the country, including two in Hartford, plus eight attorneys promoted firmwide to special counsel, including one in Hartford.
The promoted attorneys hail from 15 of the firm's 22 offices, out of a total staff of more than 400 lawyers, whose specialties include toxic tort law, general and product liability, labor and employment law, retail and hospitality.
In Hartford, the firm's newest partners are Andrew T. Boivin, specializing in general liability, and Samantha K. Levasseur in workers' compensation. Also in Hartford, attorney Andrew J. Even has been promoted to special counsel.
Goldberg Segalla reported the promotions to cap off a year of historic nationwide growth, including the opening of offices in Los Angeles and Orange County, California, and Raleigh, North Carolina, as well as the hiring of more than 100 attorneys across 10 states.

Goldberg Segalla has also announced that it has hired associate Kristen L. Stumpo, formerly of Solimene & Secondo in Meriden, to join the firm's workers' compensation practice group in Hartford. Stumpo counsels and defends employers, insurance companies and self-insured clients in all stages of workers' compensation litigation. She also represents clients in personal injury and liability cases.
Stumpo received her undergraduate degree in liberal arts and legal studies, graduating summa cum laude, from Quinnipiac University and her law degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law.
In addition to Hartford, Goldberg Segalla has teams in New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Miami, St. Louis and several other cities.

Brody Wilkinson Names Four New Principals Brody Wilkinson has named four new principals: Daniel B. Fitzgerald, Mark W. Klein, Lisa F. Metz and Alyssa V. Sherriff.
“It is with great pleasure that we congratulate our newest principals who have become vital members of the Brody Wilkinson team,” said principal Ronald B. Noren. “Over their many years of practice at the firm, they have developed a remarkable level of both legal skills and client service. They stand ready to be part of Brody Wilkinson's future.”
Fitzgerald is a member of the firm's business and dispute resolution groups, focusing on employment, general business law and commercial disputes. He counsels employers and executive-level employees on employment matters and negotiates employment-related agreements, representing clients in employment litigation matters. He also provides outside general counsel services to business clients.
Klein is a member of the firm's business and real estate groups, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, business transactions, securities law, general contract matters, commercial real estate transactions, franchise law and entertainment law. He assists startup companies with raising capital and helps companies navigate business secession plans and helps business owners sell their assets and equity interests.
Metz is a member of the trusts and estates group, practicing in Connecticut and New York. Her clients include high-net-worth individuals, recently divorced women and couples with young children. She also advises clients with existing family trusts regarding how the trusts may be administered to address changing needs.
Sherriff is a member of the trusts and estates group. She advises individuals and families with varying estate planning needs and goals, including high-net-worth individuals implementing sophisticated estate plans and younger individuals doing first-time estate planning. She works with clients dealing with long-term care issues for loved ones by helping with Medicaid applications, reviewing nursing home contracts, and planning for potential incapacity.
