Women Lawyers Give Back Announces Expansion Plans Following the 2018 launch of Women Lawyers Give Back Hartford, the Connecticut Women's Education and Legal Fund has announced it intends to expand its work into other Connecticut cities this year. Founding WLGB members recently joined CWEALF staff and board members for a thank-you breakfast to celebrate their work.

The statewide, nonprofit CWEALF  advocates for and empowers women and girls in Connecticut, especially those who are underserved or marginalized. The aim is to create an equitable society where women and girls thrive. Through its Legal Information and Access program, the organization bridges the civil legal justice gap by empowering women with their legal rights and options, connecting them with resources, and providing support as they navigate the justice system.
