Frank Eucalitto

Verrill Dana Announces CT Hire, Salutes Commitment to Equality Verrill Dana has hired attorney Frank Eucalitto to the firm's Westport office. Leveraging his experience working closely with businesses and investors as outside general counsel, Eucalitto advises portfolio and operating companies, investment funds, and startups in a wide variety of corporate and transactional matters, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and venture capital.

Previously, Eucalitto practiced in New York City, where he counseled high-growth technology companies in all stages of maturity from formation to exit, as well as angel investors and venture capital funds in early to mid-stage financing. In addition to helping clients navigate their day-to-day legal and business matters, Frank has extensive experience negotiating and advising clients on priced equity transactions (including Series Seed and Series A), as well as convertible notes and SAFEs.

Eucalitto earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut and his law degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law, summa cum laude.

Verrill Dana also recently announced the elevation of partner and executive board member Regina Hurley to chair of the firm's executive board, and the election of new board member Barbara Young. The election of Young brings board leadership to a female majority and ahead of national statistics for gender parity in law firm leadership positions.

“Women leaders are not new to Verrill. Women have served as managing partner, on our senior administrative team, on our executive board, and on the firm's various committees, including our partner compensation committee,” Hurley noted. “Inclusivity and diversity in all areas have been and will continue to be among Verrill's core values and its top priorities.”

Hurley co-chairs Verrill's family law practice group, representing clients in complex family law matters in Massachusetts and internationally. She has handled a number of cases of first impression involving parental rights, removal, and the validity of “Talaq” divorces in Massachusetts.

Young, a partner in Verrill's business and corporate group, guides businesses in the legal aspects of their various business transactions and opportunities, including acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures, securities offerings, governance issues, licensing, and general business counseling.

Along with Hurley and Young, Karen Wolf is the third female attorney on the firm's five-attorney executive board.

Verrill was recognized as one of the top 10 law firms in the country for gender equality by the National Law Journal in the 2018 “NLJ 500 Women's Scorecard.”
