Wiggin and Dana has announced the arrival of its newest class of summer associates for 2019, with students hailing from law schools in Connecticut and across the country.

The group is composed of five second-year law students and three first-year law students. This year Wiggin and Dana has also launched a new diversity scholar summer program, with students splitting time between the firm and New York's Montefiore Medical Center.

The firm also welcomes a Yale New Haven Health System/Wiggin and Dana diversity scholar for the ninth consecutive year and a United Technologies Corp. and a Lawyers Collaborative for Diversity scholar.

The eight-week summer associates program offers participants opportunities to work on a variety of assignments, with the goal of providing a realistic view of associate work and life. Students participate in public service and social events as part of the experience.
