First-Ever CT Law Fair Sept. 13
Quinnipiac University School of Law will host the first-ever Connecticut Law Fair Sept. 13 for students and community members interested in legal careers.
Representatives from more than 40 law schools are scheduled to appear at the free event, which will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Quinnipiac School of Law Center, 370 Bassett Rd., North Haven.
The fair will give prospective law students a chance to learn more about the law school admissions process as well as the academic programs, career services, financial aid and scholarships.
"Attending a law fair is a great way to jump-start your law school search," said Adam Barrett, associate vice president and dean of law admissions at Quinnipiac. "There's nothing like talking firsthand with law school representatives to get a real sense of what's out there and to get questions answered. We're excited about the range of schools participating and proud to host this event."
A prefair panel will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., with law school representatives discussing what prospective students need to know about applications, LSATs, personal statements, resumes, and character and fitness disclosures.
Registration is requested for the fair, which is open to the public, and walk-ins will be permitted. For more information, call 203-582-3408 or email [email protected].
