Carter Mario Announces Hires

Milford-based Carter Mario recently added two attorneys to its ranks.

Amanda Mitchell has joined in the firm's corporate headquarters in Milford. The former solo practitioner worked previously at Sullivan Heiser and Gould, Larson, Bennet & McDonnell. She focuses her practice on personal injury, family law and general litigation.

"Amanda's experience with varying types of personal injury and family law along with her approachable nature make her an asset to our team. We look forward to her joining the firm," said firm President and CEO Carter Mario.

Mitchell lives in Madison with her husband and three children and served on the local planning and zoning and youth and family services boards.

Bettina Cavanagh has also joined Carter Mario at the Milford headquarters, bringing insurance defense litigation and personal injury experience. In insurance defense, she tried numerous jury cases to verdict and represented clients in many mediations and arbitrations. Carter Mario credited her with being able to see cases from "both sides of the aisle."

"Bettina's wealth of knowledge of the legal side of the insurance industry and her decade of experience fighting for injured individuals make her a valuable member of our team," Mario said. "We look forward to her joining the firm."
