In a last-ditch effort to relocate Minnie, an Asian elephant being held at a Connecticut petting zoo, an animal rights group filed a supplemental brief with the Connecticut Appellate Court.

With the Connecticut Supreme Court saying last month it wouldn’t hear the case, Florida-based nonprofit Nonhuman Rights Project has sought another avenue to move the elephant to a 2,300-acre sanctuary in Tennessee.
