Robinson & Cole has announced the elevation of five lawyers in the firm's Hartford and New York offices, including a new partner.

The new group includes newly elected partner Taylor A. Shea in Hartford, along with attorneys Nathaniel T. Arden, Jonathan H. Schaefer, Cara C. Vecchione, and Anna Jinhua Wang, who were promoted to counsel, effective Jan. 1.

Shea represents privately and publicly held companies in all aspects of corporate and transactional law, including commercial finance transactions, private equity and venture capital transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate and commercial matters. She is a member of the firm's business transactions group and its manufacturing industry team. Shea is resident in the firm's Hartford office.

Attorneys elevated to counsel in Robinson & Cole's Hartford office are as follows:

Nathaniel T. Arden, in health law group, advises hospitals, health systems, physician groups, community providers and other health care entities, with a focus on health care regulatory and transactional matters and information technology issues. He worked at a large academic medical center before joining the firm.

Jonathan H. Schaefer, a member of the firm's environmental, energy and telecommunications group, focuses his practice on environmental compliance counseling, permitting, site remediation, regulations and litigation related to federal and state regulatory programs. His experiences enable him to work effectively with experts and legal counsel to help clients minimize risk and solve compliance, enforcement, transactional and regulatory matters.

Attorneys elevated to counsel in Robinson & Cole's New York office are as follows:

Cara C. Vecchione, in the insurance and reinsurance group, focuses her practice on complex insurance coverage litigation and counseling. She represents domestic and international insurers in a broad range of insurance coverage disputes. Her experience includes commercial general liability, professional liability, Bermuda form excess liability, technology errors and omissions, and directors' and officers' policies.

Anna Jinhua Wang, a member of the firm's business transactions group, assists clients with capital markets and securities law, mergers and acquisitions and corporate matters. She has a decade of experience helping public and private companies in capital market and securities issues. She advises clients on capital formation and structure, securities offerings and equity and asset sales and purchases.
