Wilson Elser Promotes 2 CT Attorneys to Partner
National law firm Wilson Elser has promoted two attorneys to partner, Matthew D. Valauri and Nicole R. Cuglietto, in the firm's Stamford office.
"On behalf of the firm, I congratulate our newest partners and the next generation of leaders," said Wilson Elser Chair Dan McMahon. "They have a deep understanding of our clients' businesses and industries, and their contributions will continue to advance our firm's and our clients' success."
Valauri has extensive litigation experience working with insurance carriers and other companies in defending claims for personal injuries, wrongful death and other damages in New York and Connecticut. He also represents Canadian clients. Valauri received his J.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Cuglietto provides claims management, insurance coverage analysis and risk management for insurers for professional lines. She also serves as claims and coverage counsel for domestic and international insurers. She received her J.D. degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law. Wilson Elser has more than 800 attorneys working internationally and is a founding member of the Legalign Global alliance of insurance law firms.

Morrison Mahoney Partner Admitted to Mohegan Disputes Court
Morrison Mahoney Partner Michelle Napoli has been admitted to the Mohegan Gaming Disputes Court at Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville. Having been admitted previously to the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Court at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Ledyard, she is now among the few attorneys admitted to both of Connecticut's two tribal courts. She is permitted to handle any litigation pending before the gaming disputes courts.
|New Verrill Offices in CT Focus on Future, Function
Verrill has moved into a new Connecticut location at 355 Riverside Avenue, Westport offering increased space, technology upgrades and technology, common spaces, shared workspaces, and conference rooms to facilitate productive exchanges of ideas and increased level of client service.
"Our firm and the legal profession have both evolved significantly over the past few years, and will continue to evolve in the future," said Barbara Young, partner in charge of Verrill's Connecticut office. "This new space not only meets our needs today, but also positions us strategically for the future.
The new 15,000-square-foot office space offers room for 30 professionals, with a board room, training center and conference rooms. Prior to Verrill leasing the space, the building was completely renovated by owner Baywater Properties.
