The percentage of students passing the Connecticut Bar Exam dropped again—only 34% passed the February 2020 sitting.

Here are the 46 students who passed the Connecticut Bar Exam in February:

The 46 students were among 137 taking the test over two days in Hartford, according to the Connecticut Bar Examining Committee. Of those who passed, 44 were Connecticut residents, one was from Massachusetts, and residency information was not immediately available for the other successful candidate.

The majority came from the University of Connecticut School of Law and Quinnipiac University School of Law: 14 students from UConn and 12 from Quinnipiac.

There were two students each who passed from Western New England Law School in Springfield, Massachusetts, and Roger Williams University School of Law in Bristol, Rhode Island. Sixteen other law schools each had one student passing the February exam.

Other statistics of note that the Connecticut Bar Examining Committee compiled include the following:

• None of the seven foreign law school students who took the test passed.

• Yale Law School in New Haven, which has a small graduating class, had just two test-takers in the February exam. One passed.

• Overall, 50%, or 23 of the 46 test-takers, passed the exam on the first attempt.
