Bridgeport firm Stockman O’Connor recently bucked the trend of firms making cutbacks amid the COVID-19 pandemic and brought on a new named partner, Kristin Connors, effectively updating the the firm’s name to Stockman O’Connor Connors, or SOC.

Formerly the head of Carmody Torrance Sandak & Hennessey’s healthcare team, Connors is an award-winning and highly respected lawyer who makes this lateral move with nearly three decades of experience in medical malpractice law. In a press release, SOC noted that the change “comes at a time when so many facets of our lives are in flux. As a firm we are weathering them together, adapting and changing with the times,” with a focus on the firm’s employees, colleagues and friends. With the addition of Connors, the firm’s roster of attorneys grows to 10.
