The Hartford office of national litigation leader Carlton Fields recently welcomed real estate attorney Patricia A. DeLeo to the team. Recent additions have also included Leslie P. King and Ryan D. Class.

DeLeo joins the firm's nationally recognized real estate and commercial finance practice. Carlton Fields is a top-ranked firm in the Hartford market for real estate matters.

DeLeo's work has been in the area of commercial transactions. She counsels clients on acquisition and disposition of real estate, commercial finance, mortgage loans, leasing, contracting and joint venture arrangements. Her background includes advanced training in real estate closings and work as a licensed insurance agent in Connecticut.

"Trish's breadth and depth of experience are a boon to our real estate team and our Hartford office," said the office's managing shareholder, Frank A. Appicelli, who also co-leads the firm's national real estate and commercial finance practice. "We are pleased to have her on board."

During her two decades of relevant work, DeLeo has advised both businesses and individuals in professional and real estate matters. She brings significant alternative dispute resolution experience through mediations and arbitrations, and has been described as a skilled negotiator who uses her litigation background to obtain positive outcomes.

Before joining Carlton Fields, DeLeo owned and operated a real estate and business law firm. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association and the West Hartford Chamber of Commerce. She is admitted to practice in Connecticut, Florida, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
