Does the bar exam separate the most competent would-be attorneys from those who are not yet ready to enter the practice of law?
That's the question swirling around as the COVID-19 pandemic hampers in-person bar exams, leaving Connecticut and other states to consider allowing law school graduates to practice law and gain admission to state bars, without first successfully completing bar exams. Connecticut is scheduled to have online bar exams over two days in early October.
