As Connecticut weighs whether to grant diploma privileges for law school students, people on both sides of the issue had a chance to present their case Friday morning during a two-hour Zoom meeting of the Rules Committee of the Superior Court.

Granting diploma privileges for 2020 law school graduates because of the coronavirus—as four states have already done—would allow those graduates to become licensed attorneys without having to take the bar examination.
