The former counsel for Connecticut Senate Republicans, already charged with the alleged theft of more than $260,000 from a GOP political action committee, was arrested again Thursday on two warrants charging him with several unrelated offenses.

Avon attorney and West Hartford resident Michael Cronin was arrested and charged with forgery, identity theft, and committing an offense while on release from custody, according to the Division of Criminal Justice.
