Some of the best lawyers, firms and judges in Connecticut were saluted in the first-ever virtual Connecticut Legal awards, featuring the largest-ever group of honorees presented in a 45-minute program that was streamed online Wednesday evening. The program can be reviewed in its entirety on demand here.

Big winners in the program included Connecticut’s Attorney of the Year, Carlton Fields partner Leslie King, whose work as the chief litigator for the City of Hartford at Murtha Cullina in 2019 included defeating a $90 million wrongful termination lawsuit by the initial developer of the city’s minor-league baseball stadium, Dunkin Donuts Park. Litigation departments at Murtha as well as Wiggin and Dana and Cowdery & Murphy were honored, along with a crop of two dozen new Leaders in the Law.
