Calling Kevin Creed’s crimes “fraud at a level I haven’t seen often in my 23 years,” U.S. District Judge Janet Hall sentenced the former Bristol attorney Monday afternoon to 42 months in federal prison.

Hall held a three-hour-plus Zoom meeting on Creed’s case Monday in which she heard six victim impact statements as well as from Creed himself. The former Army helicopter pilot had pleaded guilty to one count of wire fraud in relation to a scheme in which he stole about $1.4 million from veterans.
