A former Fulbright Scholar who once clerked for former U.S. Supreme Court Justice Harry Blackmun, U.S. District Judge Jeffrey Meyer of the District of Connecticut said one of the best parts of his job is presiding over one of the federal district's three reentry courts.

The federal reentry courts are something many people might not be aware of, but the 57-year-old judge said presiding over the New Haven reentry court serves an important mission.
