As COVID-19 cases in Connecticut continue to grow and as health officials worry about a new strain of the virus, administrators in both state and federal courts have announced there will continue to be a pause in both criminal and civil jury trials.

On the state side, where jury trials were slated to resume Nov. 2, 2020, and then were pushed back to Dec. 31, there is uncertainty on when they might resume.
