A witness to a rollover crash coupled with the lifestyle of the 86-year-old driver before the accident helped clinch a $350,000 settlement for plaintiffs counsel Bruce Newman.

Newman, a partner with Brown, Paindiris & Scott in Hartford, said the testimony of the witness driver “was huge and important” because his client, Vincente Santiago, had no memory of the June 2019 accident in Plainville in which his vehicle turned upside down after the impact from another motorist’s car.
