Pollard Heads Up Diversity & Inclusion at Day Pitney
Connecticut law firm Day Pitney has tapped into the state's corporate talent market to hire a new head of diversity and inclusion.
Tara Pollard, former director of diversity and inclusion at Travelers Companies in Hartford, will work closely with Day Pitney's executive committee, diversity partner and chief talent officer to advance diversity initiatives. While at Travelers, Pollard directed enterprise diversity and inclusion and served as enterprise talent manager, leading diversity-focused retention and development programs.
"Tara's past experience and dedication to diversity and inclusion makes us confident she is the perfect fit for this role," said Theresa Kelly, Day Pitney's partner in charge of diversity and inclusion. "We are delighted to have her as an addition to the firm to drive D&I initiatives and look forward to advancing a more diverse and inclusive legal culture at Day Pitney to benefit all our attorneys, staff and clients."
