Attorneys are divided about Bridgeport Mayor Joseph Ganim‘s application for reinstatement to the Connecticut bar after serving seven years in prison for corruption.

Ganim, 61, was an attorney for 25 years until his law license was revoked. He served six two-year terms as mayor of Connecticut’s largest city before resigning in 2003 after being convicted of federal felony corruption charges.
