It is unlikely that David T. Dellinger, a social and antiwar activist who died in 2004, had much in common with former President Donald Trump, aside from each man having strong and passionate beliefs. Yet a fascinating connection may exist: the Anti-Riot Act (18 U.S. §§ 2101-2102), which makes it a crime to travel in interstate commerce with the intent to incite a riot. It is punishable by fine and or imprisonment for up to five years.
