It was an emotional scene that clinched the case for plaintiff Eric March Jr.
During a four-day October bench trial in federal court in Connecticut, March took off the elastic belt over his abdomen and showed Judge Victor Bolden his bare chest after a local Veterans Affairs hospital burned his bowel during surgery.
