Wiggin and Dana Welcomes Life Sciences Partner Jonathan A. Harris

Patent lawyer Jonathan A. Harris has joined Wiggin & Dana as a partner in the firm's life sciences practice group in Hartford.

A leading patent lawyer who previously worked for 15 years at Axinn Veltrop & Harkrider, where he served as a partner, Harris helps clients protect, license and monetize intellectual property assets, including negotiating and drafting sophisticated patent licenses and strategic alliances. He also advises established and emerging life science companies on mission-critical patent matters, including litigation, due diligence and prosecution.

"Jonathan's extensive work with global leaders in the life sciences industry on innovations worth billions of dollars, including high-stakes patent litigation, prosecution and licensing, make him a natural fit for our Life Sciences team," said Wiggin and Dana Managing Partner Paul A. Hughes. "We are excited to welcome Jonathan to the firm, and we know that our clients will benefit greatly from his ability to see the big picture in every IP matter he encounters."
