A former Bristol attorney who embezzled $1.4 million from a charity and was sentenced in federal court to 42 months in prison in November had 20 more months tacked to his sentence in state court.

On Monday, Superior Court Judge Maureen Keegan sentenced Kevin Creed, 69, whose new sentence will run consecutively to a prior 42-month sentence, for a total of 62 months in prison.
