For the second time in three weeks, the Connecticut Appellate Court has ruled against a Hartford attorney who claimed several media outlets defamed him after he was suspended from the Connecticut Bar for one year in 2015.

On April 30, the Appellate Court ruled 3-0 that several media outlets, including the parent of CBS Radio and several Connecticut newspapers in The Hearst Corp. chain, hadn’t defamed 65-year-old attorney Joseph Elder.
