Constitutional law practitioners will be paying close attention to a Superior Court ruling that sided with Gov. Ned Lamont and will keep in place mask mandates for children in Connecticut, according to constitutional law professors and those who filed suit against the governor.

While Quinnipiac University School of Law professor and constitutional law expert Bill Dunlap said, “state cases usually get less attention then federal ones,” he said the five-page ruling that Superior Court Judge Thomas Moukawsher wrote Monday could be the exception to the rule.
