As a former attorney with more than 35 years of sobriety under his belt and someone who has been active the last 10 years with Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers Connecticut Inc., the nonprofit’s board of directors thought David Williams would be the perfect fit and face of the group moving forward.

“Dave has a tremendous amount of experience and a positive outlook toward the future of the organization,” said Fairfield attorney Anthony LaBella, who has been on the 20-person board of directors for more than a decade and was until recently the board’s president. “Traditionally, people who need recovery are helped by people who have found it themselves, and he fits the bill.”
