White and Williams will open its 11th U.S. office in Stamford, Connecticut, on Aug. 1 in an effort to tap into the region’s hub of real estate, insurance and financial services clients and consolidate a foothold along the Atlantic seaboard.

The Philadelphia-headquartered firm secured 15,000 square feet of tenant space at 9 West Broad St. near downtown Stamford to serve as the primary location for five partners and two associates, leadership announced Wednesday. Core practice areas at the Stamford office will include real estate, finance, insurance, labor and employment, commercial litigation, tax and estates, serving a “diverse group” of national and regional clients, according to a statement released by the firm.
