Lawyers at Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton on Wednesday removed a lawsuit against Home Depot U.S.A. to Connecticut District Court. The suit, filed on behalf of Daniel Reale, concerns alleged violations of the ADA.

Reale, a Plainville resident, cited chronic rhino-sinusitus and associated allergies as a qualifying disability precluding use of a protective face mask while attempting to shop at a Home Depot store in Montville, Connecticut. The plaintiff claims store employees ‘shouted him out of the store’ and denied him participation in public accommodations “as a consequence of improper and illegal policy and inadequate or incorrect training.”
