A West Hartford attorney who has filed a wrongful death lawsuit in the case of a pedestrian—who was struck and then run over and killed by a 32-foot FedEx Ground Package System Inc. truck—says she’s confident she can prevail citing corporate recklessness.

“Corporate recklessness is very difficult to prove,” alleged plaintiffs attorney Brooke Goff of Goff Law Group, who worked on the lawsuit with colleagues Annette Smith, Elisabeth Swanson and Tiffany Sabato. “They will try to fight back on the corporate recklessness count, but we have a good case here. Some attorneys just throw things in a complaint, but we have experts we have gathered along the way that support our position of corporate recklessness.”
