A pain management doctor’s prognosis that the victim of a two-vehicle crash would need in excess of $3 million in future medical treatment was the impetus for defense counsel agreeing to a $1.95M settlement, according to plaintiffs counsel Betsy Ingraham.

“They realized it was best for them to settle,” Ingraham, an attorney with the Connecticut Trial Firm in Glastonbury, said. “Our pain management doctor, Tory McJunkin out of Arizona, was very clear that my client had ongoing pain management needs that were significant, and would last the rest of her life.”
