Bridgeport's Center for Family Justice has received a financial boost from the nearby Inner City Foundation for Charity & Education to support pro bono legal services for a growing number of individuals and families needing services in Fairfield County.
The foundation, which announced earlier this year its plans to dissolve and distribute all of its remaining funds, earmarked $225,000 for the center, which will be awarded $75,000 in annual payments over the next three years. The grant is part of a $6 million distribution of foundation funds to area charities and service organizations.
