NBC television play-by-play announcer Leigh Diffey has been named in a negligence and premises liability lawsuit stemming from an alleged rape at his Ridgefield, Connecticut, home in July 2018.

Diffey is one of the most prolific voices in motorsports since joining NBC in 2013. The lawsuit claims he should have known the alleged attack could have occurred, and shouldn’t have allegedly given plaintiff Caroline Dranow alcohol in his house, or allegedly let her sleep in the same room with her alleged attacker.
