New Haven solo practitioner and civil rights attorney Alexander Taubes sees the biggest threat to practices like his from the “continued COVID-19 lockdowns and slowdowns.” And he said they’ll soon have “a catastrophic effect.”

The 32-year-old Taubes, who also handles criminal matters, personal injury and election law, said: “There were jury trials during the 1918 Spanish Flu pandemic. We cannot afford to shut down our judiciary again.”
