Those who know or who have worked with former Superior Court Judge Dawne Westbrook said the experienced jurist is the perfect choice for her new job as chief administrative judge of juvenile matters.

Chief Court Administrator Judge Patrick Carroll III, who announced Westbrook’s elevation to the post effective Sept. 6, said in a statement: “She has more than 12 years’ experience as a front-line judge, with eight of those years in Juvenile Court. I am confident in her abilities to lead the division through the remainder of the pandemic and beyond.”
