Counsel for a woman injured in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 84 in Cheshire in 2019 was told for months that the insurance carrier wouldn’t budge from its offer of zero for plaintiff Linda Kellert.

Then, plaintiffs counsel played hardball. She decided to file a lawsuit after getting nowhere with the insurance adjuster, and said she played up Kellert’s extensive injuries, which included multiple facial fractures, including to her jaw, as well as injuries to her hip, spine, ribs and head.
