Gov. Ned Lamont announced two nominations Thursday to fill human rights referee vacancies at the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities.
Dr. Cherron Payne of Farmington and Jon FitzGerald of Bristol were chosen to fill the positions, serving as administrative law judges for CHRO. Lamont named Payne as his choice for chief human rights referee in making Thursday's announcement.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
