Controversial Yale Law School professor Amy Chua is at the center of a new lawsuit filed by two students who claim their support for the high-profile educator and author has led to them being denied opportunities for academic advancement.

The students filed a lawsuit Monday accusing Dean Heather Gerken, Associate Dean of Student Affairs Ellen Cosgrove and the school’s director of diversity, equity and inclusion of retaliating against them for refusing to support a complaint against Chua related to alleged social gatherings held in Chua’s home with Yale Law students.
