McCann, who joins as a member in the firm’s property tax and valuation and land use practice, handles property tax appeals and eminent domain matters. A former attorney for the city of Norwalk, McCann represents businesses and individuals before municipal boards and has prosecuted and defended administrative appeals regarding issuance and denial of planning and zoning and inland wetland approvals. McCann handles sales and acquisitions and assists owners and developers through all phases of planning and permitting. He has litigated more than 1,000 property tax and other Connecticut Superior Court appeals. McCann received his law degree, cum laude, from Quinnipiac University School of Law. He will be based in the firm’s Bridgeport office.

Hrelic, formerly of Horton, Dowd, Bartschi & Levesque, joins the firm as counsel with the litigation practice, having earned a reputation for appellate and commercial litigation. She has substantial experience in state, territorial and federal appeals in the areas of constitutional law, complex litigation and business law, as well as family law and criminal and civil matters. Herelic assists clients at all stages of litigation, especially where there is a likelihood of appeal, and represents attorneys in ethics and risk management matters. She also holds leadership roles in the Connecticut Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Hrelic received her law degree from the University of Connecticut Law School and is based in Pullman & Comley’s Hartford office.
