JUUL Labs, the popular vaping company, sued Reeha LLC on Wednesday in Connecticut District Court over the alleged sale of counterfeit JUUL-branded products. The lawsuit, filed by McCormick, Paulding & Huber, brings claims including trademark infringement, unfair competition and false designation of origin. Counsel had not yet appeared for the defendants Wednesday.

According to the complaint, Reeha owns and operates the Citgo-Litchfield Smoker's Choice retail store. Plaintiffs allege the company has counterfeited JUUL products by "illegally manufacturing, selling and distributing fake, copied and non-genuine versions" of JUUL's products and related packaging.
