Hartford Financial Services was hit with an ERISA lawsuit Thursday in Connecticut District Court. The court case was brought by Zeldes Needle & Cooper on behalf of Julie M. Summers. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant.
The case is 3:22-cv-00157, Summers v. The Hartford Life and Accident Insurance Company. The complaint alleges Summers is owed $881,000 in unpaid disability benefits dating back to 2008, along with associated plaintiff's costs and attorneys' fees.
