Breana Vessichio Joins Hartford BID

Breana Vessichio, an attorney in the business services practice at Reid and Riege, has been named a commissioner of the nonprofit Hartford Business Improvement District.

Vessichio joins a group including 22 other commissioners who serve as the executive body of the district. Jordan Polon, executive director of Hartford BID said the organization is "thrilled" to welcome Vessichio to the board. "Breana's knowledge of governance structure, policy and process, coupled with her experience with commercial real estate, nonprofit organizations and business services, make her an outstanding addition to our organization's board," Polon said.

The Hartford BID works to enhance an area of 60 blocks by providing supplemental services in collaboration with the Mayor's Office, Police Department, Public Works Department and more than 100 property owners and organizations. The organization's mission is "bringing about positive and lasting change by enhancing the economic vitality and quality of life" in the district.
