Connecticut’s COVID-19 positivity rate has declined consistently since a high of nearly 30% in January, and about 80% of the population is fully vaccinated, according to data from the state Department of Health.

With that in mind, Connecticut Supreme Court Chief Justice Richard A. Robinson says people entering courthouses, including attorneys and parties to cases, could choose whether to wear a mask.
