Two attorneys, Alexa Mahony and Andrew Ranks, have been hired at the Connecticut Trial Firm, a personal injury firm in Glastonbury, increasing the firm's roster to 16 lawyers.
Mahony, a former associate at Hartford's Dressler Strickland, joins with six-plus years of experience, including breaking a string of 32 consecutive defense verdicts in a slip-and-fall case in 2017 in Hartford Superior Court. Mahony is a faculty member at the Keenan Trial Institute and was a certified legal intern at the Quinnipiac Civil Justice Clinic. She earned her JD at the Quinnipiac University School of Law.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
