A former U.S. Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives acting director will participate in the representation of a Galveston firearms parts manufacturer that is challenging a Biden Administration rule intended to curtail the production of so-called ghost guns—3D-printed guns that have no serial numbers.

Michael J. Sullivan, the ATF acting director from 2006-2009 and current partner in the Ashcroft Law Firm in Boston, is scheduled to appear pro hac vice at the initial conference set for Sept. 14 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
